We provide a team of WorkMed physicians backed by a consultant who
is board-certified in occupational medicine plus a multi-specialty
medical group of primary care physicians and specialists. Services
include:

- Pre-placement
- DOT
- Executive

- Comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation and functional testing
for cardiovascular condition and lifting capabilities; helps
determine whether an employee is safe and able to return to work
after an injury or prolonged time off
- Post-offer/pre-placement screenings in Pro Rehab to determine
safe, effective placement strategies that reduce the risk of injury
and also to determine if a new hire has the physical capabilities
for a job
- Fitness for duty, with or without restrictions
- Return to work, following an injury or illness
- Second opinions to determine diagnosis, casual connection, and
extent of disability
- Disability evaluations as requested by the Ohio Bureau of
Worker's Compensation
- Independent medical exams to resolve conflict of opinion and
legal disputes

- Acute
- Follow-up
- Good communication and tracking. Our physicians provide injured
employees with injury forms at the conclusion of each visit. These
forms note whether restricted duty is necessary. Our injury care
coordinator tracks the care and provides you with timely progress
reports.
- Physical therapy and other rehabilitative services, including
transitional-work/return-to-work programs structured to reduce
lost-time days as well as the likelihood of re-injury.

Because Defiance, Napoleon, and Continental Clinics are all part
of the same health care organization, our clients have the benefit
of close cooperation and communication among all the health care
professionals involved in their employees' occupational health care.

Our insurance department has knowledge and experience in dealing
with Worker's Compensation and filling all types of insurance.

Our main Clinic, located at 1400 East Second Street (St. Rt. 18), is
centrally situated at the hub of a six-county area to serve business
and industry in Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Putnam, Paulding, and
Williams counties.
Many occupational medicine services are available at our satellite
locations in Napoleon and Continental.
